Goyder Project
State Archives will not be able to assist with this project until after
June but we can obtain photocopies if we nominate the properties
selected, 27 South East properties have been identified.
Clayton Memoirs
We have permission from the family to publish these memoirs, which give
interesting insights into life in the early days of the South East .
Judy Murdoch is coordinating the project.
Book Awards
Director of the State History Trust, Margaret Anderson has been informed
that we were unable to fund the Book Awards for 2004 so regretfully have
decided to cancel them at least for the time being .Margaret expressed
her disappointment but unfortunately could not assist. Judy Murdoch
received a similar response from the History Council Both Judy and Pam
have received letters of enquiries already but the exciting news was
that one enquirer has replied that she would investigate some
possibilities to obtain sponsorship. Pam has forwarded her a sample
letter requesting sponsorship which also includes what we can offer a
sponsor and a history of SEBP/Kanawinka Writers and Historians and a
history of the Book Awards. If you have any ideas or possible sponsors
please contact us.
